From the age of 8, we can begin to say that our child is gently transitioning into adolescence . It's often around this time that they get their first phones and their social interactions develop around these communication networks. It's therefore important to suggest activities and games to provide them with short breaks from screens . The best game for ages 8 and up to capture their attention? One they're actually interested in!

At this age, children know very well what they like and dislike. Therefore, to play a game, the subject, theme, and/or type of activity must appeal to them . Do they like astrology and space? Choose a puzzle with that theme. Do they like everything related to the human body? Get a book on the subject. Do they like logic games? Opt for one that will challenge them with problem-solving skills.

Don't forget that they are still children and they love spending quality time with their parents and family ! Games that encourage discussion or collaboration can be a wonderful way to connect and learn more about the wonderful adults they are becoming . And above all, even if they lose some of their childlike innocence, it's essential to have fun ! It's human nature to play, regardless of age!
