KUEI KUEI! - Grab a pencil and come have fun!
Inspired by the bestselling book Nutshimit: A Forest Bath, written by Melissa Mollen Dupuis and illustrated by Elise Gravel, this activity book encourages children to learn and have fun with nature.
What toppings would you add to your piece of bannock? Can you draw the animals that live in the forest? Aspiring artists are invited to explore activities that combine learning and entertainment, such as completing and coloring illustrations from Nutshimit.
Budding writers will also be able to exercise their creativity by writing jokes for a grumpy wolverine and letters to their ancestors.
Curious minds will be encouraged to venture outside and interact with nature to complete certain activities, drawing inspiration from the message of Melissa Mollen Dupuis, for whom nature is paramount.
The book also contains classic activities such as connect-the-dots and word searches.
Thanks to Elise Gravel's comic-style illustrations, readers will discover the importance of nature and give free rein to their creativity, while learning a few things along the way.
