Game Rules

Objective: Capture the opponent's king to achieve checkmate.

Gameplay:
The game is played on a 64-square chessboard. Players start by placing their 16 pieces: 1 King, 1 Queen, 2 Bishops, 2 Knights, 2 Rooks, and 8 Pawns. Each player randomly selects a color and takes turns playing.

Basic Rules:

• The King moves one square in any direction and can castle.
• The Rook moves vertically or horizontally without limits on the number of squares.
• The Bishop moves diagonally.
• The Knight moves in an "L" shape and can jump over other pieces.
• The Pawn moves forward one square, with the option of moving two squares on its first move. If it reaches the last row, it transforms into another piece (except the king).

Game Mechanics: A piece is captured when it is occupied by an opposing piece. If the king is in danger of being taken, the player announces "check." The game ends in checkmate or a draw in certain situations.
