Lucie Maud Montgomery - From Small to Large

Lucy Maud Montgomery lost her mother when she was very young and was raised by strict grandparents. As a child, she loved books and dreamed of becoming a writer. Even though her family thought it wasn't a serious career for a girl, Maud wasn't discouraged. She wrote several novels. Her most famous, Anne of Green Gables is now read all over the world.
