The pandas who made a promise 🐼
At the top of a misty mountain, two red pandas, sisters Popo and Ketu, live happily with their mother. As they grow up, they promise her they will always stay together, close to home.
But while cautious Popo cherishes the comfort of their cozy home, bold Ketu dreams of adventure and new horizons. When Ketu descends the mountain in search of exploration, Popo must make a heart-wrenching choice: keep her promise or follow her sister .
A thrilling and heartwarming story that explores keeping promises, the importance of family ties, and the courage to forge one's own path. From the creators of the internationally acclaimed The Mouse That Roared , this book is an invitation to discuss with children the balance between commitments and personal desires.

About the authors
Jim Field is an award-winning illustrator, character designer, and animation director. Jim has worked on a wide variety of projects, from music videos and title sequences to commercials and picture books. He regularly collaborates with Rachel Bright (The Lion Inside), Kes Gray (Oi Frog!), and Julian Gough (Rabbit & Bear). He has also illustrated children's books with Michael Morpurgo, Michelle Robinson, Jeanne Willis, Steve Cole, comedian David Baddiel, and J.K. Rowling.
Rachel is a wordsmith, a picture artist, and a champion of the bright side. She exhibits a lot, writes relentlessly, and often creates slightly off-kilter characters. Her writing includes children's stories and poems, witty advertising copy, and much more. Her illustration work is a buffet of giant, hand-printed poems, incredibly detailed gouache illustrations, and a cacophony of quirky prints and engravings. She explores the love of words and the magic of images, reveling in a world of miniature, jam-eating bears and other invented creatures.
