A box to discover letters according to the Montessori method, based on the visual but also tactile discovery of letters.

Montessori schools use rough letters: the child looks at them and touches them to learn both their layout and their sound.

The child memorizes them better because several senses are involved and not just sight.

Box including the twenty-six letters of the alphabet cut from cards and offering a rough touch to follow their trace with the finger. Accompanied by an activity book suggesting to parents 20 activities to do with their children to complete their discovery of letters.

In this box there are 26 heavy cardboard letters.

The letters are printed with a rough ink in volume.

1 - the vowels are printed on a blue card.

2 - the consonants are printed on a green card.

On each card, small arrows indicate the writing direction of the letter.

These letters can be used to learn to read letters but also to write them.

The activities

Montessori s are always very intuitive. The child quite naturally places his finger on the letter and will follow the path indicated by the arrows. Montessori liked to find activities that allow the child to learn on their own. To better internalize learning.

In this box there is also a book by Marie-Hélène Place. This woman has been working with Montessori pedagogy for a long time and can thus guide us through the pages.
